Uniti Group's Kinetic unit is hiring a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from the network hub to customers' homes. You will connect customers to reliable internet, voice, and entertainment services with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

The role offers hands-on field work with potential advancement into broader fiber optic and telecom careers, requiring the ability to travel for training and possibly overtime work.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with buried cable, fiber, or telecom field work is helpful.
• Ability to walk long distances and lift up to 70 pounds.
• Comfort with outdoor field work and safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform burial of copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable to connect network to residences.
• Operate tools and machinery for trenching and boring as required.
• Interpret work drawings, complete paperwork, and promote Kinetic products.
