Job summary

Bergelectric Corp. is seeking a Systems Foreman in the Los Angeles area to lead field installations, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project specs and safety standards.

You will coordinate with the general contractor, manage labor, materials, and schedules, and drive on-site productivity while maintaining quality and compliance. The ideal candidate has two to four years of field experience as a Systems Journeyman and holds a Journeyman Fire Alarm license (NICET II or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Two to four years of field experience as a Systems Journeyman.
• Must hold Journeyman Fire Alarm license (NICET II or equivalent).
• Deep knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage systems in commercial settings.
• Ability to order/track materials and develop as-builts.
• Strong scheduling, code compliance and cost-projection skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assign tasks to crew, maintaining labor tracking logs.
• Set project goals and monitor progress to meet objectives.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure materials are received per policy.
• Adhere to change orders and project documentation.
• Utilize prefabrication and installation methods company-wide.
• Ensure proper safety equipment and tools are available on site.
• Provide timely crew changes notices to superintendents.
• Anticipate issues and proactively resolve them.
• Maintain meal/break times per policy and law; supervise on-time start/finish.
• Conduct performance evaluations of crew members.
• Keep accurate as-builts per Bergelectric procedures.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, GC and team.
