Job summary

ProPetro is seeking a Technology Engineer to lead development of new products, systems, and procedures. You will collaborate with IT, Development, and Product Management to keep services at peak performance and drive improvements.

You will manage complex projects from design through testing, with an emphasis on data-driven technology and analytics, while adhering to safety and compliance standards across shop and field environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in engineering or a related field.
• Degree in engineering or relevant field is required.
• Desirable familiarity with AI, data science and data-driven tech.
• Experience in product design/manufacturing and production preferred.
• Strong data analytics skills.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• PM methodologies familiarity.
• Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Metal working skills and dynamics knowledge.
• CAD/CAM and FEA experience.
• 0-1 year of combined internal/external experience accepted.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Able to stand, sit, bend, or climb for long periods.
• Ability to work in hazardous environments with PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of new products, systems, and procedures.
• Collaborate with maintenance, logistics, operations, and engineering teams.
• Collect system requirements and improve tools and processes.
• Build, deploy, test, and support systems in shop or field.
• Maintain high customer-facing service performance and health of systems.
• Incident and problem management with RCAs and remediation.
• Ensure work aligns with internal compliance policies.
• Discuss and resolve technical issues with staff as needed.
• Stay updated on key industry innovations and support growth.
• Identify opportunities and assist with technical proposals.
