Job summary

Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a Switchgear Technician to re-certify MCC, Switchgear, and E-Houses to customer specifications. You will follow engineering layouts, paint structures, and perform field service at client sites.

Travel within the territory and occasional deliveries are required to meet project needs. Ideal candidates hold a High School Diploma, mechanical aptitude, and valid driver’s license, with certifications like Pearl I/II, OSHA, and MSHA as assets.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Be able to pass a respirator fit test and use PPE.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a company vehicle.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow our engineering layout to build MCC, Switchgears, and E-Houses
• Responsible for painting MCC and Switchgears structures
• Field service work at client sites as needed
• Deliver product to other locations
