Responsibilities and Expectations:

We are seeking a dedicated MCC/Switchgear Technician to re‑certify MCC, Switchgear, and E‑Houses to the customer’s specifications. In this position, your job duties will include changing MCC layouts and painting the structures. This position requires a motivated, detail‑oriented team member with the ability to learn quickly and work safely.

• Follow our engineering layout to build MCC, Switchgears, and E‑Houses
• Responsible for painting MCC and Switchgear structures

Qualifications and Competencies:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and be trained on proper respirator protocol
• General understanding and firsthand experience with safe work environments
• Be able to read, interpret, and modify documents
• Ability to work overtime. Mandatory overtime is required based on business need
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an excellent driving record
• Ability to possess the following certifications: Pearl Level I and II, Forklift training, TSC Electrical Training Classes completed within one (1) year of hire date, Mine and Safety Administration (MSHA) Training, 10‑30 Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Card, In‑house Training on individual machines in the shop

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry items up to 50 lbs. in weight
• Ability to stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform manual labor for up to 12 or more hours per day
• Acute hearing and strong field of vision
• Ability to work in demanding physical and inclement weather conditions
