Job summary

Ames Construction is seeking a Surveyor to support surveying on our Scottsdale, AZ projects. You will prepare worksheets, read blueprints, map boundaries, and provide on-site measurements while coordinating with clients, staff, and the crew.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED; an associate or bachelor's degree in surveying or civil engineering is preferred; a Certified Survey Technician designation is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior experience with heavy construction staking, topo, GPS and conventional surveying methods.
• Ability to read and understand safety and employment requirements.
• Reliable and punctual with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Survey land for construction projects and lay out sites.
• Prepare worksheets, plans, and boundary descriptions.
• Read blueprints and maps and provide on-site measurements.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and the construction crew.
• Assist Supervisor or perform other tasks as assigned.
