Ames Construction is seeking a Surveyor to support land surveying for major infrastructure projects on-site. You will read blueprints, prepare boundary descriptions, and coordinate with teams to ensure precise measurements.
Expect to work with GPS, Total Station, and AutoCAD tools, with emphasis on safety and reliability. A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor’s in surveying/civil engineering is preferred.

A Surveyor is responsible for surveying the land available for construction projects. The responsibilities of a construction surveyor include preparation of worksheets, plans, boundary descriptions; providing consultation on land development projects; read a blue print and map; surveying land for various project sites; and communicating with clients, staff, and construction crew. Assist Supervisor or perform other tasks as assigned.
