Job summary

Ames Construction, Inc., a leading heavy civil and industrial contractor, is seeking a Surveyor to support land surveying for major infrastructure projects in Scottsdale, Arizona. You will prepare worksheets and plans, read blueprints, and provide field and office support across project sites.

Candidates should have prior surveying experience, proficiency with GPS and Total Station, and the ability to work extended hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associates or bachelor's degree in surveying or civil engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in GPS, Total Station, and blueprints.
• Ability to read maps and project documents.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Survey land for construction projects and prepare worksheets and plans.
• Read blueprints and maps and provide boundary descriptions.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, and crew; assist supervisor.
• Maintain equipment and keep safe work area.
• Communicate survey results to project teams.
