Job summary

TriMedia Environmental & Engineering Services, LLC is seeking a full-time Survey Technician for Marquette, MI. Entry to mid-level role supporting field and project work for our Land Survey Department; local and regional travel required.

We offer competitive benefits and an hourly wage of $22.00–$32.00, commensurate with experience. You will perform ALTA, boundary, topographic, construction, as-built and hydrographic surveys using GPS, robotic total stations, levels and data collectors.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent field experience.
• Experience: 1+ year land surveying experience preferred.
• Willing to travel up to 50% for project work; outdoor work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform field surveys including ALTA, boundary, topographic, construction, as-built and hydrographic surveys.
• Operate survey equipment including GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and data collectors.
• Collect and record accurate field data.
• Read and interpret plans, maps, and legal descriptions.
• Adhere to safety standards and company procedures.
• Drive open communication with team to meet project deadlines.
