Job summary

Stantec is hiring Experienced Field Survey Technicians for opportunities in Cincinnati and Columbus, OH. You will perform surveying, mapping and data collection activities under direct supervision and as part of a larger project led by a Senior Surveyor.

Position involves field work in outdoor environments, driving to job sites, and collaboration with a team to ensure accuracy and safety. 1-3 years experience preferred; associate degree or technical training preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or technical school preferred but not required; 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
• Field work will primarily be in outdoor settings.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Load vehicles with tools and equipment and ensure materials are loaded correctly.
• May drive company vehicle to reach job sites.
• Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Verify accuracy of field survey data and prepare maps/sketches daily.
