CESO, Inc. is seeking a Field Survey Technician I to assist Crew Chiefs with land surveys, data collection, and construction staking in Columbus, OH. You'll learn to operate total stations, GPS, data collectors, and related tools while supporting survey tasks on various projects.

The role involves reading maps and stake-out sheets, ensuring measurement accuracy, and recording data per the CESO Land Surveying Manual. Local travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 6 months or more of survey field experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• First Aid & CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport and set up surveying instruments and prepare the site.
• Learn to operate total stations, GPS, data collectors, and scanners.
• Research previous survey evidence and records for data needs.
• Assist with boundary and topographic surveys and construction staking.
• Record data electronically and handwritten per CESO manual.
