Job summary

Monaloh Basin Engineers Inc. in Pennsylvania is seeking an Instrument Operator to join a 2–3 person crew to perform field surveys necessary for design work such as roadways, bridges, and oil and gas sites.

You will carry and set up survey equipment, collect data, and prepare field notes and sketches while working outdoors in various weather conditions and staying within travel expectations Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow directions in noisy environments.
• Teamwork in a small crew.
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Work in a 2–3 person crew to perform field surveys for design data.
• Carry, set up and adjust survey instruments; collect data and prepare notes/field sketches.
• Bonus: basic surveying knowledge and ability to run instruments and rods for elevations.
