Job summary

Exacta Land Surveyors LLC is seeking a Survey Field Crew Instrument Operator to assist with preparing job sites for surveys. The role involves outdoor work year-round, lifting up to 70 pounds with assistance, and supporting the Field Crew Chief in field assignments.

Ideal candidates are located in the Worthington, OH area and can work Monday–Friday with seasonal weekend shifts. Training on company standards and data collection systems is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years related surveying experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to perform basic math including algebra, geometry and unit conversions.
• Ability to operate survey instruments (total station, data collector, GPS).
• CAD drafting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check, clean and adjust instruments as needed.
• Check vehicle fuel, oil and tire condition.
• Transport and set up instruments and equipment for surveying.
• Clear vegetation and place stakes/pins as directed.
• Take measurements and support field assignments efficiently.
• Learn data collectors, coding and company standards.
