Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred in Surveying or GIS.
• 0–1 year of field surveying experience is acceptable for entry level.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to learn field surveying procedures quickly.

Responsibilities

• Perform field survey activities to support the survey crew chief.
• Operate survey instruments, levels, GPS, iPad, and data collector.
• Receive training to operate survey instruments during the first year of employment.
• Open and investigate utility manholes.
• Set survey points with a sledgehammer on construction sites.
• Stock survey supplies in the survey vehicle.
• Perform daily field survey activities as directed by the survey crew chief.
