AKS Engineering & Forestry is hiring a Survey Field Technician to join our multi‑discipline team in Oregon. You will work with project surveyors, field crews, engineers, and managers on public and private projects, gaining hands‑on experience and advancing your career with a collaborative team.

You will start early, wear safety protocols, use Trimble tools, contribute to data collection, and may travel for assignments as needed. This role suits a motivated learner ready to grow with purpose.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid OR or WA driver's license with clean record.
• Willing to learn with on-the-job training.
• Must pass urinalysis drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding field tasks like packing survey gear and clearing brush.
• Receive hands-on training with survey instruments and data tools.
• Operate Trimble robotic stations and GNSS receivers on projects.
• Support data collection efforts using UAS where applicable.
• Follow safety protocols and site regulations.
• Work in adverse weather and difficult terrain.
• Occasionally travel out of town for projects.
