Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is hiring a Survey Field Technician in Bend, Oregon. You will work with project surveyors, field crews, engineers, and project managers on diverse public and private projects, gaining hands-on field experience from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid OR or WA driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Willingness to start at 6:00 a.m. and work overtime to meet deadlines.
• Must pass urinalysis drug screening.
• Strong safety focus and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding tasks such as carrying survey equipment, pounding hubs, and brush clearing.
• Receive on‑the‑job training on survey instruments and data collection tools.
• Operate Trimble robotic total stations, GNSS receivers, and data collectors.
• Support data collection using unmanned aerial systems (UAS).
• Follow AKS safety protocols and site regulations.
• Travel occasionally for out‑of‑town projects.
