Pennoni seeks a Field Survey Technician for our Milton, DE office. You will conduct field measurements and stake survey points on land development projects, operating total stations, GPS, and related equipment. This role demands physical work and attention to detail.

The position is full-time, with duties requiring outdoor work and collaboration with a project team. Valid driver’s license and meticulous record-keeping are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent).
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record.
• Formal training in Land Surveying or Civil Engineering preferred.
• Physically-demanding fieldwork experience preferred.
• Experience with modern survey methods and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Adjust & operate surveying instruments and collect measurements.
• Record survey data using notes, drawings, and data files.
• Position targets for sighting to measure angles and distances.
• Search, stake, and recover sectional & property corners.
• Perform construction staking and field labor as needed.
• Work on a variety of projects with emphasis on Land Development.
