Job summary

Snyder & Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated land survey technician for our Council Bluffs, Iowa office.

You will participate in fieldwork such as ALTA surveys, construction staking, plats, topographic mapping, and utility mapping, contributing to accurate data for design and project success. We value teamwork, problem-solving, and consistent, safe field performance as you support diverse civil engineering projects for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in a construction-related trade or as a survey technician is preferred but not required.
• AS degree in Civil Engineering/Land Surveying Technology preferred but not required.
• Team player who can contribute individually.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Efficient and safe work habits.
• Reliable, punctual, and regular attendance.
• Ability to work outdoors in a wide range of weather conditions.
• Ability to safely move on foot through active construction sites and undeveloped terrain.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must follow and abide by company policies and procedures.
