Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Land Survey Technician for our Jacksonville, Florida office to support boundary and topographic surveys and construction layout in the field. You will work with a Survey Crew Chief, load gear, prepare the truck, and log field data under a licensed surveyor's review; familiarity with Trimble total stations and data collectors is important.

This is a 12‑month contract-to-hire, fully on-site, Monday–Friday with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• Field experience with Trimble total stations is required.
• Experience with data collectors is expected.
• Ability to load/unload equipment and assist crew chief.

Responsibilities

• Assist field crew with boundary surveys, topo surveys, and construction layout.
• Load/unload equipment, prepare trucks, and maintain instruments.
• Log and organize field data; recover control documentation and mark survey stakes.
• Work under supervision of a licensed land surveyor.
