Job summary

Superior Construction is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead survey tasks and coordinate field operations on highway and heavy civil projects in Florida. You will translate engineering plans into accurate field layouts, manage survey crews, and ensure timely, precise data delivery under safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with survey equipment and knowledge of Topcon/Leica/Trimble systems, plus strong math and geometry skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 5 years’ experience in the surveying industry.
• 3-year minimum of construction layout.
• One-year minimum of bridge experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Superintendents and Foremen for survey requests.
• Support and direct all survey crews assigned to the projects.
• Perform calculations for roadway, structures, utilities and related tasks.
• Determine methods for recovery of existing survey control and establish secondary control as needed.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment including total stations, levels, GPS and other tools.
• Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified.
• Lead with integrity while producing high-quality work.
