Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Survey Crew Chief to lead daily field operations, ensure safety, data accuracy, and client satisfaction. You will guide survey crews, manage records, and coordinate with project staff on schedules and deliverables.

The role requires experience with total stations, GNSS, data collectors, and Trimble equipment, with strong communication and physical endurance for field work and travel.

Qualificações

• Previous industry experience as a crew chief
• Experience operating total stations, GNSS receivers, data collectors and tablets
• Experience with Trimble equipment preferred

Responsabilidades

• Plan and oversee field surveys including control, construction layout and as‑built surveys
• Maintain accurate records (sketches, daily reports, timesheets)
• Communicate with project surveyors and team members to align with schedules
• Represent SAM professionally with clients, landowners and stakeholders
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs to meet tolerances and standards
• Ensure vehicles and field equipment are maintained and calibrated
• Perform additional duties as needed to support project success
