Job summary

IMEG seeks a Crew Chief in Waco, TX to direct daily field crew activities, acquire survey field data, and complete land surveying projects. You will oversee field operations, train crew members on survey equipment, and ensure accurate, safe delivery of field work for municipal, university, and utility projects across Texas.

The role requires strong knowledge of surveying fundamentals, proficiency with Trimble and Leica equipment, and the ability to manage data transfer, quality checks, and

Qualifications

• 4 years of experience minimum required in construction surveying.
• 8+ years preferred for senior field crew leadership.
• Proven ability to oversee field operations and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field crew operations for boundary/topographic surveys and stakeouts.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and data-collection tools.
• Transfer files between field data and project folders.
• Perform quality checks and verify project data accuracy.
• Train team members on equipment use and safety procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and coworkers.
