Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Waco, TX is seeking a Crew Chief to direct daily field crew activities, oversee surveys such as boundary and topographic, and ensure safe, accurate data collection for municipal, university, and utility projects.

You will train team members on survey equipment, manage field data transfers, perform QA/QC, and collaborate with the Office Coordinator or Senior Crew Chief to deliver complete deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' field experience; 8 years preferred.
• Experience supporting boundary, topographic, and construction stakeouts.
• Ability to train others and ensure field data quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform daily field crew operations.
• Operate and maintain survey equipment and data-collection tools.
• Transfer files between field data and project folders.
• Perform quality checks and process field data.
• Maintain project data and deliverables with client-facing professionalism.
• Train team members to operate survey equipment including total stations, GPS, levels, and data collectors.
• Take pre-field staking calculations and prepare as-staked cutsheets.
• Observe safety procedures and work with company vehicle as needed.
