Southeastern Surveying and Mapping Corp. is seeking a Survey Instrument Person in Pensacola, FL to support field surveying activities and maintain survey equipment. You will assist with data collection, instrument setup, and safety procedures while working under the party chief's guidance.

The role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and the ability to operate GPS, RTK, total stations, and levels. Occasional travel to job sites may be required; a valid driver’s license is necessary.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of survey experience as Rodman or Instrument Man.
• Must obtain badges/certifications to enter sites.
• Must operate survey equipment (GPS, RTK, total stations, levels).

Responsabilités

• Assist with field surveying and load/unload equipment.
• Set up backsights/foresights and operate instruments.
• Run data collection and enter codes on data collector.
• Maintain survey instruments and safety equipment daily.
• Assist party chief with field notes and project decisions.
• Occasionally travel to remote field locations as required.
