Accura Engineering in Columbia, SC is seeking a Survey Technician to support field operations. You will collect data, operate surveying equipment, and assist the Party Chief while ensuring safety and compliance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1+ year experience with total stations and GPS, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel. Training provided; includes health/dental/vision and retirement plan.

Qualificações

• Must have 1+ years of land surveying experience.
• Experience with data collection methods and GPS equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability required.
• Willing to travel for assignments; pre-employment checks will be conducted.

Responsabilidades

• Collect data using company standards for descriptions and line coding.
• Assist Party Chief in running field operations.
• Operate and maintain surveying instruments to measure elevations, angles, and distances.
• Coordinate with office staff and clients as required.
• Adhere to survey regulations and Accura procedures.
• Monitor timesheets, reports, and vehicle inspections.
• Perform calculations to establish reference points.
• Interpret maps, plats, blueprints, and specifications.
• Clean and adjust survey instruments for accuracy.
• Oversee activities in the absence of the Survey Party Chief.
