Job summary

Arora and Associates, PC is seeking an Instrument Operator to join our Land Surveying Department in New York City, NY. This field position requires travel between the office and job sites in New Jersey and New York using company vehicles.

You will operate GNSS-RTN receivers, total stations, and mobile LiDAR systems, collect geospatial data for bridge and roadway projects, and support QA/QC processes while coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• 1 to 2 years of experience in surveying fieldwork and equipment operation.
• Proficient use of survey data collection software and data download tools.
• Willingness to travel between NJ and NY job sites and to work overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Operate GNSS-RTN receivers for high-precision positioning.
• Use total stations for conventional data collection.
• Manage data collection for bridge and roadway projects and post-process data for QA/QC.
