Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a full-time Survey Instrument Operator to join a field crew and support design activities, boundary surveying, and construction staking. Expect travel to project sites and collaboration with a survey crew chief.

You will operate GPS, total stations, scanners, and data collectors, and contribute to ALTA surveys and topography tasks. A valid OSHA 10 and CPR/First Aid are preferred, with an Associate’s degree or licensing advancing your qualifications.

Qualifications

• Operate survey instruments under guidance from Crew Chief and mentors.
• Proficient in static and RTK GPS, total station surveying techniques.
• Maintain safety and quality policies in field operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tasks: construction staking, boundary location, ALTA, topography.
• Organize survey truck, equipment and supplies for efficient field work.
• Transfer data files between devices and project folders.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and coworkers.
• Adhere to Safety, Quality Management and Equipment Maintenance policies.
