Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Survey Rodman for the Panama City, FL office with occasional out-of-town assignments. The role supports field crews on surveys such as boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys using up-to-date equipment.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. Applicants must meet physical requirements (lift 50 lbs, stand 5 hours, travel as needed) and possess a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass DOT and driving checks.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma (Minimum).
• No experience required, will train.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to pass a driving record check prior to work assignments.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug/alcohol test prior to work assignments.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for 5 hours.
• Must be able to work 40+ hours per week or as required.
• Must be willing and able to travel for extended periods for out of town work.
• Must be physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites under all weather conditions, up to 12 hours.
• Must be dependable.
• Must have good Mathematical skills.
• Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles routine matters and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Duties include gathering field data to coordinate geometry within the office and organize deed and right-of-way map data in preparation for drafting.
