Job summary

Select Source International seeks a Survey Technician to perform land surveying duties across multiple project locations in the Minneapolis area. You will conduct topographic and construction surveys, utilizing GPS, laser scanners, and Trimble equipment, and you will travel regularly to project sites.

The ideal candidate has extensive field experience, strong computer skills, and a willingness to work in a field-oriented environment with company vehicles and survey equipment provided.

Qualifications

• Land surveying experience required for field operations.
• Experience with GPS, laser scanners, and Trimble survey equipment.
• Willingness to travel across MN/WI/ND/SD/MI and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform topographic and construction surveys for distribution electric, gas, transmission and substation projects.
• Conduct field surveys using GPS, laser scanning, and Trimble equipment.
• Travel to multiple project locations; coordinate with office survey group.
• Record, process, and manage survey data in field and office environments.
