Job summary

TKC Holdings, Inc.—ICSolutions (ICS) seeks a Field Tech to repair and install network devices for inmate phone systems across correctional facilities. This role requires extensive travel to multiple sites within designated regions and involves assembling and configuring network equipment for the inmate phone system and related components.

• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace components on inmate phone system devices at correctional facilities.
• Perform walk-throughs of facilities to assess network equipment needs.
• Install network equipment for inmate phone systems and related add-ons.
• Travel extensively to multiple sites per state/county contracts.
• Perform ongoing servicing and maintenance as directed by the business needs.

About This Position

As a subsidiary of TKC Holdings, Inc. and Keefe Group, ICSolutions (ICS) has been a leading provider of innovative telecommunications products and exceptional customer service to correctional facilities across the nation. There is always extensive travel to and from each site the Field Tech visits. Once there, they will perform a walk-through of the facility to repair or replace any components on a suite of custom configured network devices in support of multi-year state and county contracts. Field Techs perform installations at the new site. This requires putting together a significant amount of network equipment for the inmate phone system and associated add on components in support of the contract. Other duties as determined by the needs of the business.

What You'll Need

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have T-1 and analog circuit repair knowledge.
• Must have excellent working knowledge of multiple network disciplines and perform advanced network diagnostics to isolate and troubleshoot issues.
• Must be able to develop good working relationships with facility personnel.
• Service and maintain inmate phone systems at correctional facilities within an assigned region.
• Ability to travel throughout assigned territory as needed.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.
• Strong team oriented business skill.
• Professional attitude in dealing with customers.
