Job summary

AMERICAN WATER CHEMICALS is seeking a Field Support Representative for Southern California to deliver hands-on technical support for membrane systems (UF, MF, NF, RO) at customer sites.

The role is remote within the US with substantial travel (40–60% overnight). You will conduct system surveys, troubleshooting, CIPs, pilot screenings, and training, while coordinating with Applications and Technical Sales to ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• Technical certification or 3+ years of water treatment experience.
• Experience with RO/NF/UF/MF systems and pretreatment.
• Ability to travel 40-60% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Provide responsive field support to customers and prospects.
• Perform plant surveys, system evaluations, troubleshooting, and pretreatment assessments.
• Collect samples and assist with membrane removal and autopsies when required.
• Conduct CIP, chemical changes, commissioning, start-ups, and optimization.
• Operate and monitor pilot systems at customer sites.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to internal teams.
• Build strong relationships with plant personnel and customers.
• Prepare field reports and customer sign-off documentation.
• Coordinate with Sales, Applications, Inside Sales, and Field Services.
• Ensure safety, procedures, and standards are followed.
