Job summary

METRIX IT SOLUTIONS INC is seeking a Windows Imaging Specialist to create, test, and maintain enterprise desktop images. You will deploy OS images to desktops and laptops, validate functionality and security, and support provisioning and re-imaging activities.

Coordination with application owners and support teams is required to ensure compatibility with standard images. Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience creating, maintaining, testing, and deploying enterprise desktop images (Windows).
• Strong knowledge of OS deployment, image refresh, and device provisioning processes.
• Familiarity with desktop application packaging and software deployment concepts.
• Proven ability to document build procedures, testing results, and release records.

Responsibilities

• Create, test, maintain, update, and support standard Windows desktop and laptop images.
• Review and develop standardized endpoint images aligned with enterprise standards and approved configurations.
• Deploy operating system images to desktops and laptops using approved enterprise image deployment processes.
• Validate image functionality, application compatibility, security controls, and OS configurations prior to deployment.
• Support device provisioning, configuration, software installation, and OS deployment activities.
• Create and maintain image documentation, build procedures, testing results, and release records.
• Support hardware refresh, replacement, migration, deployment, and re-imaging activities.
• Coordinate with application owners and support teams to ensure software packages are compatible with standard desktop images.
• Test and certify image updates, patches, drivers, and software releases before production deployment.
• Maintain image versions and support release management activities for desktop image updates.
• Ensure all image configurations comply with customer security, operational, and configuration management standards.
