Job summary

Network Datacom Solutions (NDS) is seeking an experienced Field Supervisor in Houston, TX to lead onsite crews responsible for low-voltage systems, including A/V, access control, CCTV, and security alarms. You will ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and per approved plans while maintaining thorough daily documentation.

The role requires strong leadership, blueprints literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of verified experience in low-voltage installation including A/V, access control, CCTV, and security alarm systems
• Experience supervising field personnel or leading low-voltage installation projects
• Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and project specs
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise installation, termination, testing, labeling, and documentation of structured cabling and low-voltage systems
• Oversee mounting, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and servicing of A/V, CCTV, access control, and security alarm equipment
• Lead field technicians and coordinate subcontractors to meet project schedules
• Provide accurate daily updates and maintain complete project documentation
• Identify discrepancies and communicate potential change orders to the Project Manager
• Ensure installations comply with standards, codes, and safety requirements
• Maintain organized, safe jobsite and train/mentor technicians
