Job summary

Brewster/EasCare Ambulance in Boston seeks a Field Supervisor who may also practice as a clinician at their certified level to lead interfacility transport teams and support field providers.

The role supervises bases, stations and units, ensures readiness, and collaborates with the Command Center to move resources during shifts; strong clinical credibility and proactive leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Emergency Medical Technician or Paramedic.
• Current CPR certification.
• At least two years of experience at the level certified. Supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Incident Command System certification: IC 100, IC 200, IC 700 and IC 800, held at hire or completed within the first ninety days.
• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the area’s operational metrics and closes gaps in performance.
• Assesses daily staffing needs and coordinates with Scheduling to cover shifts.
• Ensures equipment, disposables, and compliance readiness for patient care.
• Oversees incident response and maintains readiness of stations, bases, and units.
• Coaches and supports team members, documents performance, and escalates issues.
