Job summary

Wood Construction Lumber Job Search is seeking a Field Supervisor of Commercial/Architectural Millwork in New Jersey. The role involves reviewing design concepts with clients, coordinating changes with internal teams, and ensuring accurate shop drawings for production.

The candidate will lead field operations, track project status during manufacturing and installation, and support the installation team with detailed instructions. Travel may be required, and relocation is available.

• Effective organizational and follow-through skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

Review, understand and communicate design concepts and requirements with clients, architects and internal operations including changes and material alternatives

Keep team updated with changes in the field such as schedules, site prep, resources, etc.

Help with submission of change orders, requests for information and other related documents

Ensure accurate shop drawings prior to submission to the customer and prior to release for production

Take all field dimensions

Track project status and product output during Manufacturing and Installation for compliance with specifications, cost and materials budgets, and quality, safety and aesthetics standards,

Eligibility Requirements:

Knowledge of millwork and casework construction and production principles, techniques and materials is needed

Ability to work well under tight deadlines

Clear judgment and creative problem-solving abilities

Work outside of normal business hours may be required

NJ Driver's License and clean driving record

• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA or have visa status permitting them to work in the USA.
• Must have applicable experience in the Woodworking Industry.
