Job summary

TORQ Coatings is seeking a Field Supervisor / Project Manager in Milwaukee. You’ll learn our installation process, lead a crew in the field, and manage residential and commercial projects from start to finish.

This is a hands‑on leadership role; no prior floor coating experience is required, as we provide paid training. You’ll grow with a rapidly expanding Milwaukee operation and take on increasing responsibility. Compensation starts at $23–$30 per hour with overtime opportunities.

TORQ Coatings is growing, and we recently launched our Milwaukee location.

We’re looking for a Field Supervisor / Project Manager who wants more than just another job. This is an opportunity to get in early, learn a new trade, lead people, and help us build our Wisconsin operation from the ground up.

You do NOT need floor coating experience. We will train you.

What we do need is someone who knows how to work, has leadership ability, takes ownership, and wants an opportunity to grow.

You’ll start by learning our installation process and running projects in the field. You’ll work alongside your crew, learn the technical side of the business, manage customers and job sites, and become responsible for delivering projects from start to finish.

For the right person, the opportunity is much bigger.

As the Milwaukee market grows, our goal is to develop this person into a larger field leadership role over the next 6–9 months. That could include helping lead multiple crews, training new team members, improving field operations, and taking on additional responsibility within the market.

What You’ll Do

• Learn TORQ’s floor coating installation process through paid hands‑on training
• Lead a crew while working alongside them in the field
• Manage residential and commercial projects from start to finish
• Prepare, grind, repair, and coat concrete surfaces
• Manage the daily workflow of your crew
• Communicate professionally with customers throughout their project
• Keep projects on schedule and moving efficiently
• Maintain TORQ’s quality and safety standards
• Inspect completed projects before leaving the job site
• Manage tools, equipment, and materials
• Identify and solve problems that come up in the field
• Train, coach, and develop crew members
• Hold yourself and your team accountable
• Help improve processes as the Milwaukee operation grows
• Work with company leadership to help build a strong local operation

This is a hands‑on leadership position.

You won’t be standing on the sidelines telling other people what to do. You’ll learn the trade, work alongside your team, lead from the front, and earn additional responsibility as you grow.

Experience in construction, landscaping, concrete, flooring, painting, roofing, restoration, home improvement, general contracting, moving, or another hands‑on industry can translate well into this role.

Previous floor coating experience is a plus, but it is not required.

If you have leadership ability, relevant hands‑on experience, and the right attitude, we’ll teach you our process.

Physical Requirements

This is a hands‑on field position that requires physical activity throughout the workday.

You should be comfortable with:

• Lifting up to 80 lbs
• Working on your feet throughout the day
• Bending, kneeling, and working in various positions
• Using hand and power tools
• Grinding and preparing concrete
• Working in garages, homes, commercial spaces, and other job‑site environments
• Working alongside your crew to complete projects efficiently
