Job summary

Vizmeg Landscape in Stow, OH is seeking a Field Supervisor to lead 8-10 lawn maintenance crews, ensuring top-quality results through direct customer contact and thorough work reviews.

You will train staff on planting, pruning, and equipment use, manage scheduling and timesheets, and coordinate snow removal operations as required. Strong leadership and plant knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in lawn maintenance.
• 2-3 years of experience managing multiple crews.
• Experience operating landscape equipment such as skid steers and loaders.
• Broad knowledge of plant identification and plant needs including shrubs, perennials, trees, and disease signs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 8-10 lawn maintenance crews and ensure high-quality results through client communication and reviewing completed work.

Vizmeg Landscape is looking to add a Field Supervisor to our lawn maintenance team in Stow, OH! As our Field Supervisor, you will oversee 8-10 lawn maintenance crews, ensuring high-quality results through customer communication, job reviews, and efficient scheduling. This role requires strong leadership, plant knowledge, equipment expertise, and the ability to train, manage, and support teams in lawn maintenance, mulching, and snow removal operations.

What you’ll be doing:

• Oversee 8 - 10 lawn maintenance crews and ensure high-quality results by constant contact with the customer and reviewing completed work
• Train employees on tasks like planting, pruning, and equipment use while ensuring safety and monitoring crew operations
• Assist with scheduling and reviewing timesheets of the lawn maintenance crews.
• Schedule work for crews, depending on work priorities, crew or equipment availability or weather conditions
• Monitor project activity to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met and schedules are maintained
• Manage snow crews by hiring, training and dispatching staff. Review weather conditions and make decisions on assigning work. Operates salt/plow truck, as needed

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in lawn maintenance
• At least 2-3 years of experience managing multiple crews
• Experience operating landscape equipment/machinery such as skid steers, loaders, etc.
• Broad knowledge of plant identification and plant needs – this includes shrubs, perennials, trees as well as identifying disease
• Ability to pass a background check, motor vehicle record check, and a drug test
