Rine Landscape Group, Inc in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our residential maintenance team. The role requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and the ability to regularly drive company trucks and equipment to job sites.

The Crew Leader works with one to two team members, leading by example, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of duties under the Maintenance Production Manager. Snow removal may be involved in winter months.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and truck/trailer combinations.

• Complete daily vehicle, trailer, and equipment inspections.
• Properly load, secure, and care for equipment and materials.
• Help organize daily assignments and work sequencing.
• Work alongside one to two team members to complete assigned maintenance services.
• Operate commercial-grade equipment, including zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and hedge trimmers.
• Complete required paperwork, inspections, and reports accurately and on time.

Rine Landscape Group is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to join our residential maintenance team.

Important requirement: This position requires a valid Ohio driver’s license and an acceptable driving record. The selected candidate must regularly drive company trucks and truck/trailer combinations while transporting team members, equipment, and materials. Applicants without a valid driver’s license will not be considered.

The Crew Leader works alongside one to two team members to complete residential landscape maintenance services safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards. This is a hands‑on position for someone who can operate commercial equipment confidently, lead by example, communicate clearly, and take ownership of completing the job correctly.

This position reports to the Maintenance Production Manager.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and truck/trailer combinations.

• Perform mowing, trimming, edging, blowing, bed maintenance, pruning, seasonal cleanups, and enhancement work.
• Help team members follow safe equipment-operation and landscape-maintenance procedures.
• Complete assigned work within established production goals and quality standards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and professional vehicles, trailers, equipment, and jobsites.
• Monitor turf and landscape conditions and report concerns to management.
• Assist with irrigation inspections and report observed deficiencies.
• Interact professionally with residential clients and communicate questions or concerns to management.
• Report equipment issues, job-site concerns, and team needs promptly.
• Complete required paperwork, inspections, and reports accurately and on time.
• Participate in snow-removal operations during the winter months.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio driver’s license required
• Driving record acceptable under company insurance requirements
• At least two years of professional residential landscape-maintenance experience
• Experience operating commercial-grade mowing equipment
• Experience driving trucks and trailer combinations
• Ability to understand written work instructions and complete required documentation
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and help guide a small team
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading landscape-maintenance teams
• Experience with route planning and production management
• Knowledge of turf care and horticultural best practices
• Experience operating skid steers, stand-on equipment, or compact utility equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment-troubleshooting skills
• Ohio pesticide applicator license or willingness to obtain one
