Job summary

EMBREY is seeking a Field Superintendent to drive the success, timeliness, and quality of multifamily construction projects in Charlotte, NC. You will direct subcontractors, coordinate resources, and support the Project Superintendent throughout the site lifecycle.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of multifamily or wood-frame superintendent experience, knowledge of building codes and safety standards, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent
• Experience utilizing Timberline, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of building codes, risk management, and safety standards
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Maintain adherence to budgetary guidelines, quality, and safety standards
• Enforce project procedures, OSHA safety program requirements, and work rules
• Retain knowledge of Certificate of Occupancy process in applicable communities
• Ensure construction activities progress according to schedule
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors for quality, cost control, and schedule adherence
• Complete punch list items within customer and budget timelines
• Prepare subcontractor work schedules and support updating project construction schedules
• Maintain safe and respectful on-site environment with OSHA and risk-management practices
