Job summary

EMBREY in Winter Park, FL is seeking a Project Superintendent for multifamily construction to lead field operations, ensure safety, schedule, and quality across projects. This salaried role reports to the General Superintendent and offers competitive pay, benefits, and 401(k) matching.

You will read and interpret plans, manage subcontractors, monitor progress, and enforce codes while maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety on site.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of multifamily or wood-frame superintendent experience.
• Experience using MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility codes, and water intrusion issues.
• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all field operations of the project.
• Provide leadership to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment.
• Read and know details of each Subcontract, Purchase Order, and Change Order.
• Monitor subordinates to ensure quality and company interests.
• Maintain good relationships with field staff and subs.
• Understand local codes and regulations.
• Promote safety on the project site.
• Manage 3rd party consultant inspections.
• Gain knowledge of plans and specs for the project.
