Job summary

EMBREY in Orange City, FL is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead field operations on multifamily construction projects. You will ensure safety, schedule, and quality while coordinating with subs, suppliers, and the project team to meet milestones.

The ideal candidate has 5–8 years as a construction superintendent, experience with MS Project/Procore/Microsoft Office, and knowledge of building codes. A HS Diploma is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a multifamily or wood frame construction superintendent
• Experience utilizing MS Project, Procore, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of building codes, accessibility codes, and water intrusion issues
• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all field operations of the project.
• Provide the leadership, motivation, and enthusiasm necessary to create a safe, cooperative, and productive environment at the workplace.
• Read and know the details of each Subcontract, Purchase Order, and Change Order issued on your project.
• Monitor the work of subordinates to ensure they are performing their work to your satisfaction and in the best interest of the company.
• Maintain good working relationships with field staff and subs.
• Maintain an understanding of local codes and regulations.
• Consistently promote safety on the project site.
• Manage 3rd party consultant inspections.
• Gain comprehensive knowledge of plans and specs for the project

Education

HS Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or related field, preferred
