Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Field Superintendent for commercial ground-up multi-family projects in the Eagle Valley/Grand Junction area. You will supervise field construction activities, manage planning, scheduling, safety, and subcontractor coordination to deliver on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred) and at least four years of relevant experience; proficiency with

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Engineering is desired.
• Minimum 4 years experience in ground-up commercial/multi-family construction.
• Experience with Procore and scheduling tools MS Project / P6 highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Refine and implement site planning, logistics and procedures for the execution of the works.
• Execute the plan for survey and layout; verify the work of others.
• Monitor CPM progress schedule for the portion of work and coordinate with the overall schedule.
• Enforce the safety program in accordance with company policies and regulations.
• Coordinate and schedule the work of subcontractors.
• Maintain the project’s 1-2-3 Quality Control program and conduct inspections.
• Maintain on-site record documents including drawings, specs, submittals and As-Built drawings.
• Assist with submittal review and RFI process in coordination with PM/PE and Project Superintendent.
• Implement jobsite housekeeping and temporary facilities.
• Coordinate with Shaw self-performed work and material control.
• Document project performance and daily reports.
• Handle inspections and coordination with inspection agencies.
• Support project closeout activities.
