Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site field operations for client projects across the United States. The first project is in northeast Ohio.

You will manage safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings compliance, and client relations with limited supervision on complex projects. Responsibilities include daily reports, progress photos, monthly progress reports, and ensuring latest drawings are used.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with extensive relevant experience.
• Associate degree with related experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline is valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and alignment with drawings.
• Ensures work adheres to project schedule; flags delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or PM.
• Takes progress photos and labels each photograph for records.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use latest design drawing revisions.
• Supports Project Construction Manager as needed.
• May supervise key trades or subcontractors on a project scope.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments for client approval with the PM.
• Maintains clear, professional communications with project management and clients.
• Keeps on-site records and files per company requirements.
• Follows Quality Policy and Systems Instructions.
