Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead on-site field operations across client project sites in the United States. The first project is in northeast Ohio, with 100% travel expected.

The role emphasizes safety, quality control, scheduling, and coordination with project management and clients to ensure project success and compliance with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct and meets quality control measures.
• Ensures the project schedule is followed and escalates delays to the PM.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead or PM.
• Takes progress photos of construction events and labels each photo.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revision.
• May provide assistance to Project Construction Manager.
• May be responsible for key trade/subcontractor in support of the project.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with PM for client approval.
• Provides clear correspondence with project management and clients.
