Job summary

Solventum is seeking a Sterilization & Monitoring Specialist to act as an infection prevention advisor to hospital stakeholders, focusing on sterile processing, patient care areas, and quality. You will drive relationships, manage accounts and territory, and use data to inform planning while collaborating with distribution partners.

Ideal candidates have healthcare sales/clinical experience, strong customer relationships, and knowledge of sterilization domains; field-based travel up to 20% is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher AND 2 years of sales and/or clinical experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of sales and/or clinical experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Current, valid Driver’s License.
• Proven track record of quota & target attainment.
• Prior healthcare sales/clinical experience.
• Territory management & business planning experience.
• Strong customer relationships with key influencers.
• Understanding of cleaning, disinfection, sterilization, and asepsis.
• Customer focused selling and closing.
• Experience navigating complex selling cycles.
• Experience using a CRM (Salesforce).
• Experience with new product introductions and value analysis.

Responsibilities

• Managing relationships with key clinical and economic stakeholders.
• Delivering sustainable business growth based on sales targets through account and territory management.
• Using data and analytics to inform business planning.
• Identifying and solving customer financial & clinical priorities & constraints.
• Leveraging hospital network to identify expansion opportunities.
• Persuading stakeholders to advocate for proposed solutions and products.
• Increasing mix of NPIs.
• Collaborating with distribution partners to align on tactics and programs.
• Providing in-servicing, education, and technical support as needed.
• Influencing product adoption through publications and guidelines.
• Driving contract compliance and standardization.
