Job summary

ConocoPhillips is seeking a Stabilizer Multi‑Skill Operator (MSO) to oversee stabilizer facilities, monitor process conditions, and maintain equipment performance while controlling costs. This field role emphasizes operational judgment, safety, and environmental compliance across remote well sites in the Southeast region.

Applicants should have mechanical skills, be able to troubleshoot, and commit to ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Current/valid driver’s license.
• 1+ years’ experience requiring mechanical skills (inspection, operation, maintenance, or repair).
• Willing to relocate within commuting distance of the Zia Hills Central Facility.
• Rotating 7 day shifts / 7 days off / 7 night shifts (7/7).
• Ability to meet physical demands and work environment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Access remote well sites to monitor wells and equipment and adjust controls to support production.
• Inspect wells, tanks, meters, separators, and piping for leaks or issues and take corrective action.
• Gauge tanks for volumes and manage production accounting.
• Operate and troubleshoot compressors, gas lift systems, and flowback equipment.
• Start up/shut in/test wells per procedures and plans.
• Maintain and verify chemical injection rates for equipment integrity.
• Enter data into computerized systems and verify outputs for accuracy.
• Support MOC activities and PSSRs; complete regulatory documentation.
• Update P&IDs and site security diagrams for new/modified facilities.
• Respond to alarms, including after-hours, to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
