Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sprinkler Inspector to perform routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on life safety systems in the field, ensuring compliance, reliability, and safety at every site.

You will document findings clearly, apply proper coding, follow a structured inspection schedule, and assist the foreman with installs and minor repairs while maintaining professional communication with customers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain licenses required by codes.
• Experience reading blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, programs, schematics, and manuals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on life safety systems.
• Inspect wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
• Document deficiencies with proper coding and reporting.
• Assist foreman with installation and minor repairs as needed.
