Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. is seeking a Splicer on the construction team to join our field crew. You will splice fiber optic and copper cables in both outdoor and indoor environments, read schematics, maintain drawings, and manage on-site safety and DOT-related requirements.

Travel up to 50% of the year and weekend/holiday availability are expected. You will document splice locations, maintain inventory, and support project timelines while adhering to industry standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Splice cables per established procedures and safety standards.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints accurately.
• Maintain splice records, diagrams, and field notes.

Responsibilities

• Splice fiber optic and copper cables in indoor and outdoor settings.
• Construct splice cases with proper grounding and sealing; manage slack storage.
• Follow RUS standards; adhere to safety procedures and engineer instructions.
• Support project timelines and perform on-site oversight including safety meetings.
