Bechtel seeks a Part-Time Telework Manager of Field Solutions in Houston, TX. The role leads front-line construction management activities and maintains strong ties with project teams to surface issues early and craft short-term fixes that keep the project on track.

You will develop programs to grow field leaders, analyze metrics, and drive improvements aligned with Bechtel's strategy. Significant travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 20+ years progressive field experience in heavy industrial construction preferred.
• Demonstrated experience at superintendent level or above on large capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Own the Solutions Group's relationship with assigned project teams, focusing on front-line construction managers, superintendents, and field engineers.
• Identify early execution problems with project teams and agree the diagnosis before presenting conclusions.
• Develop and deploy short-term solutions that restore performance within the current project schedule.
• Judge and scale proven fixes into standardized solutions for other projects.
• Contribute to constructability reviews and provide input into schedule development and improvement.
• Generate and test productivity and innovation ideas for field deployment.
• Coach Solution Specialists with field exposure and feedback.
• Support Environmental, Safety & Health with site input and safety innovations.
