Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Foreman in Houston, TX to lead the construction of outdoor amenity spaces. You will work in the field alongside subcontractors, coordinating daily activities, maintaining schedules, and solving field issues to deliver high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates have hands-on construction experience across several scopes and can eventually lead a 2-4 person crew. This on-site role offers growth with a growing specialty contractor in Texas.

Qualifications

• Fluent in both English and Spanish is required.
• Hands-on construction knowledge across several scopes.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors and crews.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily field activities across multiple construction scopes.
• Work directly alongside subcontractors to maintain schedules and quality standards.
• Assist with layout, installation, troubleshooting, and field problem solving.
• Identify workmanship or installation issues before they affect the project schedule.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate field materials and deliveries.
• Track completed work and communicate project progress to operations leadership.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Communicate with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Help establish consistent field installation and quality standards.
• Eventually recruit, train, lead, and manage a 2-4 person field crew.
